Aquatics
Whether your an athlete in training or just learning to swim, the Louisville Recreation Center's Aquatic facilities are second to none! Our indoor facility and outdoor pool, at Memory Square park, offer everything from beginner lessons and water aerobics to family swim and dedicated adult lap time.

GENERAL POOL INFORMATION
The Pool area has 3 separate bodies of water; the Main pool is 25 meters with 6 lanes, 2 lanes designated for lap swim at all times and a 1 meter diving board. The Splash pool has a 160 foot water slide, adventure splash down area with water feature. The Hot tub is located next to the solarium and sun deck. The Pool area also offers a Dry Sauna and Steam room.
The Louisville Recreation Center offers the AMERICAN RED CROSS LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM.
Instructors are WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR CERTIFIED BY THE AMERICAN RED CROSS.
Classes are offered weekday mornings or evenings and Saturday morning. Choose alternate classes if the class is full. You will be contacted if you are placed into a class from the wait list.
If you are registering for more than one session, please register for the same level for each session.
PRIVATE/SEMI PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS are available on a limited basis. Fill out a private lesson card at the front desk. The instructor will notify you if we can accommodate your request.
